Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families. We’ll give you full training for our Support Worker roles at our Service in King's Heath, Birmingham.
This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. A full UK Manual Driving license and the willingness to learn and to drive our company minibus is desirable.
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting individuals who have a a range of vision and hearing difficulties, communication difficulties and complex needs. The people we support live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things.
You will support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. Experience of using British Sign Lanuage (BSL) or having a BSL qualification is desirable.
