Are you a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader or Deputy Manager seeking to advance your career? Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Deputy Care Manager at our Supported Living Service in Selly Park, Birmingham.

This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week.

This is an opportunity for you to work alongside the Registered Care Manager to help run the home.

At our 6-bedded service, we support individuals with complex needs, including mobility impairment, learning disabilities and sensory losses. The people we support live a varied and active life and like to be out and about, busy getting on with things. 

As a Deputy Care Manager, your role will be divided into 2 parts; 22.5 hours supporting on shift and 15 hours office based. There is an element of line management responsibility such as staff supervisions, and also mentoring when on shift.

You will require previous experience in leading a team in a Social Care environment. A full manual UK license and the willingness to drive a company vehicle is desirable as we do to take the people we support to do activities outside of the home.
