Why work at Sense?

“Sense doesn’t dictate to you, they listen to you. So, you can put in really positive changes and that’s really, really important to me.”

Be part of our ambitious plan

Sense is here to support disabled people with complex needs from the first few weeks of life through every milestone of adulthood.

No matter how many barriers a person might face, we provide personalised, creative and flexible support – whether in people’s homes, our centres, colleges or services.

Our support is tailored to each person’s needs. With Sense, children can discover new ways to communicate and play, young people and adults can build skills and confidence, and families can feel seen, supported and valued.

Through campaigning and advocacy, we  work alongside disabled people with complex needs to break down the barriers they face every day, driving change towards a future where support works, systems join up and everyone belongs.

We also offer practical information, advice and support to carers and families, enabling them to build the resilience to thrive, not  just survive.

Joining Sense means you’ll be part of something special, where you feel included and valued, challenged and supported.
