Teaching in a Sense College isn’t like other teaching jobs. It’s a unique opportunity to support disabled people with complex needs to grow in confidence and achieve their potential. People work in our colleges across the spectrum of roles, from education support worker, to SEND tutor, to principal.
Sense Shops offer retail jobs with a difference. Our shop managers lead and support an enthusiastic team of volunteers, and our warehouse team ensures stock is efficiently distributed. The whole team comes together to operate a professional retail business, while knowing that all profits go towards supporting crucial services for disabled people with complex needs.
Our people research and campaign on issues affecting disabled people, raise funds to support our work, and do everything it takes to keep Sense running efficiently and effectively, including finance, HR and IT, fundraising and engagement.
