This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise in quality, compliance, and continuous improvement will shape how we deliver support across the country.
Key Responsibilities
As Head of Quality, you will provide strategic leadership, quality assurance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across all Sense social care services. The role ensures that services meet and exceed the expectations of regulators, commissioners and the people we support. Working closely with the operational leadership team and chief operating officers, you will drive a culture of high‑quality practice, robust governance and organisational learning.
You will work closely with senior leaders to:
- Build and lead a high-performing Quality team
- Drive organisation-wide quality assurance and governance
- Strengthen compliance with regulators including CQC and Ofsted
- Use data and insight to influence strategy and improve outcomes
- Identify risks early and lead meaningful, lasting improvements
From overseeing inspections and investigations to shaping policy and systems, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of care for the people we support.
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a confident, values-driven leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on expertise:
- Significant senior experience in quality, compliance, or regulation within social care
- Deep understanding of frameworks such as CQC, Ofsted, and equivalent bodies
- Proven track record of improving regulated services
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Expertise in audits, inspections, investigations, and quality systems
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders, regulators, and Boards
Above all, you’ll share our passion for inclusion and delivering outstanding, person-centred support.
