Could you be a Sense Casual Children's Services Assistant?
It's an exciting time at Sense, as we now have an opportunity for Casual Children's Services Assistants to join our amazing team in our Children's Nursery & after schools club, located in Jordanstown.
This is a casual role, with flexible hours to suit you. We work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, so can offer part time/full time and relief/bank contracts.
Sense is offering £12.50 per hour.
Due to expansion of our Service, we have this exciting opportunity to join a high-quality person-centered service.
We are looking for people who want to have flexibility but are able to offer commitment and shared values in return, a great role for someone looking to get into the care sector!
The planned interview date for this role is 28th August 2025.
We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:
- Positive, with a can-do attitude.
- Caring and empathetic.
- Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
- Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.
- Have a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Experience working in a childcare setting is desirable for this role.
No two days will be the same

This role might include supporting children with:
- Learning new skills.
- Personal care and hygiene.
- Making sense of their environments and accessing their community.
- Medication and wellbeing.
- Using the communication that is best for them.
- Their social life and behaviour.
