  • Contribute to the development of streamlined, consistent data architecture across our data estate in line with direction from the Database Manager.
  • Deliver Sense’s Raisers’ Edge training to colleagues in the Engagement directorate, empowering them to capitalise on the opportunities provided by data.
  • Provide first and second line support to Raisers’ Edge users, primarily through our Zendesk ticketing system.
  • Support the Senior Database Officer in making and quality controlling marketing data selections.
  • Lead and deliver discrete data projects as directed by the Database Manager in preparation for our new CRM system.
  • Create new and amend existing import templates.
  • Clearly document projects and process upgrades in line with Sense standards
  • Always operate within relevant legislation and regulatory guidance.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Experience working with Raiser’s Edge, within a fast-paced fundraising/ sales/customer-facing environment
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver high-quality data services including ETL and selections
  • Strong analytical and planning skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with different types of people at all levels
  • An understanding of how clear and consistent data use drives insight, which in turn drives improved engagement with the public
  • Ability to use Excel or Access to perform large scale data manipulation
  • Experience creating/editing Import-O-Matic profiles is desirable
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is desirable
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, R or comparable language is desirable
