You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our part time and full time roles. 

Sense have a fantastic opportunity as we look for A Children's Support Worker / Intervenor within the South Gloucestershire area. Offering you an hourly rate/ salary of £11.90per hour / £23,204.00 (FTE)

This job role will be to support a young person with autism and communication needs to access the community. 

An intervenor provides one-to-one support to children and young adults who have been born with sensory needs, and who often have additional needs. The intervenor helps the individual to experience and join in the world around them as much as possible. They promote their personal and social development, encourage independence and support their communication. 

This role will take place during the day every Saturday for 3 hours. Exact hours can be discussed.

 There are also opportunities to increase your hours, by supporting other children different days within the Intervenor Service. We would like individuals to join our team of adaptable and motivated staff. 

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who have:

• Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.

• To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.

• Medication and wellbeing.
