Could you be a Sense Support Worker?
Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Support Worker at our service in Kingstanding, Birmingham.
This is a permanent role, with contracts available for 22.5, 30 or 37.5 hours per week at our CQC service which has been rated 'Good'. As a Support Worker, you will receive £9.75 per hour/ £19,013 per annum FTE.
Our home consists of 5 bedrooms and we support individuals who have sensory impairments, learning difficulties and/or mobility impairments.
Care is provided around the clock. We take particular pride in the range of activities and wellbeing events we provide. Some of the activities are attending our resource centre Touchbase Pears, adapted cycling, swimming, bowling, ice skating, pub visits and visiting local parks. The staff team arrange day trips and also support on holidays in the UK and abroad.
At home, we like to relax and enjoy being pampered with foot spa’s massages, cooking, baking, arts and crafts and developing our daily living skills.
The individuals require support 7 days a week, 24 hours a day and currently require day support workers for early and late shifts on a varied pattern.
The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they are all treated as such.
