Regional Building Surveyor (hybrid)
- Degree in Building Surveying/ Construction/CIOB
- Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office and use of databases
- Knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and regulations
- Substantial record of work experience within a mixed portfolio Building Surveying Environment
- Proven experience of commercial property management
- Experience of using AutoCAD (min 2007 edition) or willingness to train
- Flexibility in work commitment; work extra hours if required to ensure success of the organisation
- An ability to build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external agencies, so that objectives are met consistently and change is introduced successfully
- Ability to communicate with staff, volunteers and public at every level

About the role
This is an exciting time to join Sense Property, the Estates function of the national charity, Sense. We are looking to recruit a Regional Building Surveyor to manage, within a particular region, Sense’s property portfolio in accordance with Sense’s policy and Estates principles. This role is a full time permanent position, working flexibly between home and our offices in Crayford.
Sense supports over 3000 people with deafblindness and other complex communication disabilities, and have over 200 properties – day centres, residential accommodation, offices and charity shops – in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Under our recent strategy, our ambitions include increasing our support tenfold and significantly expanding our programmes.
