Could you be a Sense Communication Facilitator?
We now have an exciting opportunity for a Communication Facilitator to join our fantastic Community Service in Powys. This is a permanent role, with various part time hours available to suit up to 20 hours per week with potential for additional hours.
Usual hours of work are between 9am-5pm and occasionally out of hours support may also be required.
Our Community Service provides valuable support for individuals with sensory loss to live the life they want, providing support which is led by the individual to reduce their social isolation and minimise any risks to homelessness.
You will be working with people in a service which supports individuals in an ‘on demand’ pattern. There is a lot of travel involved for this role so you will need your own transport and be willing to travel around Powys, Mid Wales.
The duties are varied, and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they are all treated as such. As a general guide, you may support individuals with sensory needs help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing.
