Could you be a Sense Support Worker?

We now have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our service in Aylesford, Kent. We have a variety of contracts available from 0-37.5 hours per week to suit applicants desired needs, these postions could be Days, Nights or Weekends, either on a permanent, full time, partime, Relief or annualised hours basis. The hourly rate can be £9.75 (Days) £10.25 (nights), this will increase to £10.97 (Days) or £11.53 (Nights) per hour for employees who work full time hours and choose to work overtime!

Early shifts start from 7am late shift finishes at 10pm - Varied shifts are avalable during the day, We are able to be flexible around hours, possibly a good position for a working parent around school hours!

You will join our fantastic team here at Aylesford, where you will be supported by management and motivated to grow and develop within your role with Sense. As a Support Worker you will support and enable individuals to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible.  

We are looking to recruit a support worker due to further individuals moving in, so it is a great time to join our growing service! You will be supporting individuals in their home, This includes supporting with everyday living, cooking, cleaning, personal care, finances, medication, working, shopping and trips out. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. You get to enjoy going to the cinema, Bowling, Theatre, Pubs, Music groups, signing clubs, support to work experience, cycling club, Holidays shopping trips and much more but even better you get paid to do all of this!

No need to worry if you do not have any qualifications as full Training is given this includes the Care standard qualification, We also provide BSL Training.

  • You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker. 
  • A full UK driving licence is beneficial to aid with days out/trips etc.
