We are Sense Get Out There Group, a high quality community care service in Hall Green, who are passionate about supporting children and young adults. 

We’re seeking to recruit a great new Community Support Worker on a part time basis. You will be working 4 hours per week and we would like someone with the right values and behaviours to work in our bespoke service.

You will be supporting a young individual with Global Developmental Delay. 

As a Community Support Worker, you will support the individual to access the community facilities and take them swimming as this is something they enjoy doing.

The hours vary, but generally will be working on Sundays from 1pm-5pm and may be expected to work more hours during the school holidays.

You don’t need to have previous care experience, nor do you need care qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker, we will provide you with all the training you may require. Your required skills and experiences:

  • A full UK licence and must be willing/able to drive your own vehicle is essential.
  • Experience of working within a family home and global development delay is beneficial.
  • You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker.
