Could you be a Sense Support Worker?
It's an exciting time as Sense is expanding, we now have an opportunity for a Male Support Worker to join our brand new service in Dover. We offer part time and full time contracts or even annualised contracts from 10 - 37.5 hours per week, these cover regular sleep-in shifts, we are looking for a flexible support worker happy to work varying shift times, these could be Lates, earlies and weekends. We are offering a Male Support Worker £9.75 per hour within our supported living servcice. Supporting 8 adults over the age of eighteen, who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loses and learning disabilities.
We are looking for male support workers to work alongside our young males. Support with everyday living, cooking, cleaning, personal care, finances, medication, working, shopping, trips out, going to pubs and night clubs. The duties are varied, no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they are all treated as such. As a general guide, you may support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. You will be supporting individuals to grow with independence.
