Could you be our new Bid Writer

Sense’s new strategy sets ambitious targets for growth, so that we can provide more support to more people every year.  The Business Development team has recently re-structured and we have an exciting opportunity for a Bid Writer to join our existing team. 

About the job:

As a Bid writer you will be responsible for working with operational colleagues to engage with commissioners, raising the profile of Sense and its broadest service offer. The post holder will also support the retention and growth of current and future provisions through activity supporting tenders and framework applications. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and take a lead role, whilst continuing to work as part of a team.

The role is a temporary vacancy that will run until June 2023.

Your required skills and experiences:

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing tender opportunities and the completion of the bid writing process which will increase business and diversification of opportunities across Sense Operational Services.  You will have excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Ideally, you will have experience of writing tenders and bids within the social care sector with a demonstrable track record of securing new business. The ability to be confident working under pressure to meet deadlines is essential.
