Could you be a Sense Support Worker?
At Sense, we now have a great opportunity for Support Workers to join our service in Malvern, Worcestershire.
This is a permanent role, with part-time and full-time contracts available for up to 37.5 hours per week. There is an enhancement pay of £10.20 per hour on the Weekends.
You will join our fantastic team at our residential home, where we support young and older adults who have communication difficulties.
Set at the foot of the beautiful Malvern Hills, there are some lovely walks and picnic areas that we like to use. We are an active bunch, and we enjoy being out and about. We go cycling, horse riding, to hydro and music sessions, to cinemas and theatres and pubs. We enjoy holidays away, visits to and from family and day trips out all over the place. Ideally, we need drivers to help us to get around.
We like to be involved at home too, and enjoy cooking, baking, arts and crafts and pamper sessions, and we love being in the garden doing jobs or just relaxing, so if you don’t drive you can still support us. There's ample free parking outside the house and if you do not drive we are only a 5 minutes walk from Great Malvern Station.
We need staff to support us 24-7, so there are early shifts, late shifts, night shifts, and these are every day of the week. Some of us need help with medication, eating and drinking and continence support, and some mobility help.
There are opportunities to provide one to one support to the individuals we support with life skills and activities.
We are open to applications from weekend workers to suit anyone who might be studying for example, or hours to suit from part to full time and including relief/ bank staff hours.
