Could you be a Sense Children's Community Support Worker?
It's an exciting time as Sense has just released its new strategy, and our Get Out There (GOT) Children Groups are getting bigger! We are currently recruiting for a Children's Community Support Worker to join our Get Out There Group in Rugby.
This is a permanent part time role, working Mondays for 3 hours, Fridays for 3 hours and Saturdays for 4 hours. This does increases to 12 hours in the holidays.
The individual you will be supporting likes being outdoors – they are very active, enjoys going to skate parks with their scooter, long walks, trampolines, swimming, taking things apart, fixing things, boats, they need someone with high energy and strong boundaries.
For this role we do require you to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
As a GOT Group Support Worker you will be supporting children and young people with their social programme of activities, the children and young people do have complex needs, which may include sensory impairments, additional learning and physical disabilities and/or autism.
