Could you be a Sense Waking Nights Support Worker?

We now have an opportunity for a Waking Nights Support Worker to join our service in Market Deeping.  

This is a permanent role, working 27 hours per week. 

Supporting seven individuals within a residential setting rm 10pm-7.00am with a variety of health and support needs inclusive of sensory impairments, learning disabilities, physical health requirements and behaviours that challenge.  This role is based in one of our dual managed services therefore there is an expectation that staff may be required to work both in our Market Deeping and Deeping St James  services.

The service is situated in Market Deeping with links to the local area inclusive of Crowland, Spalding and Peterborough

Your duties can include:

  • To support individuals / groups within the home, and community.
  • To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
  • To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.

Your required skills and experiences:

  • You don’t need to have previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications – we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent support worker. 
  • Knowledge of multi sensory impairments / learning difficullties is beneficial.
