- Strong IT skills with experience of working with Raiser’s Edge or a similar database in a fundraising environment.
- Good understanding of Relational Databases, technically and real world application
- Understanding of MS Excel, Importomatic and of MS Access
- A clear understanding of data protection regulations and other regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
- An eye for detail and be adept at spotting errors whilst working in a methodical manner.

About the role
Sense has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Engagement team as a Database Assistant. This full time position will be based at our head office in King's Cross, London.
This role sits within the Engagement Team; who are fast paced with a varied and large work load, the succesful candidate will be expected to manage their own task list and prioritise where necessary. Working with the Database Manager and Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate data on Sense’s supporter database so that our Engagement teams can liaise with their supporters in a timely and effective manner. This will include creating, maintaining and running import profiles for data from third parties and websites, data selections for marketing and fundraising activity.
