About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Education Service Manager to work 37.5 hours per week at our fantastic Sense College at Touchbase Pears in Birmingham.  The working hours are between 9am and 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Deputy Education Service Manager with strong leadership skills to deliver specialist education for adults who are deafblind, with additional learning difficulties. With your educational background and understanding of OFSTED requirements, you will have the ability to plan and teach exciting lessons to develop and inspire our learners.

You will work with the Education Services Manager to ensure that the training, development and management of staff effectively reflects the needs of the service and ensuring at all times that the service is compliant with its statutory requirements.

About you 

We encourage a variety of activities including therapy, community events and swimming. It is therefore important that you’re willing to support individuals in the pool, as well as carry out all aspects of personal care including assisting with washing, dress, eating and drinking.   

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role as you will be required to travel between sites.
