It's an exiting time as Sense has just released its new strategy, we now have an opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Supported Living Service in Rotherham.

This is a permanent, part time role,  30 hours per week.  There are 3 individuals that live in a supported living house in Rotherham.  We have a great relationship with our neighbours and the local community.  People attend different day services and pursue different hobbies such as swimming, rock climbing and visiting places of interest

Individuals are involved in all aspects of their lives and have an active daily schedule

Your duties can include:

  • Support the Day Service Manager and Deputy Managers in the day to day running of a responsive innovative and high quality service.
  • To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
  • You will assist the managers in the running of the service including rota, supervising, mentoring and leading the team

Your required skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting.
  • Knowledge of multi sensory impairments / learning difficullties is beneficial.
