About the role

Sense has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Finance team as a Finance Assistant, based at our offices in Wakefield. This role is offered as either full or part time, working between 22.5 and 37.5 hours per week. This is a fixed term contract until the end of March 2022.

The Finance Assistant will work flexibly as a member of the Finance Team to ensure the smooth operation and development of a high quality and cost effective support service for managers and directors within Sense and Sense International. You will be involved in a range of financial activities, including purchase ledger postings, supplier queries and assisting with the management of the finances of the people we support.

Key skills and experience

Our ideal candidate will be numerate and have experience of using computerised accounting systems. You will have a record of work experience within a general accounting or financial administration role. You will be IT literate, with experience of using the full Microsoft Office Suite. 

You will possess the ability to prioritise your own workload and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
