About the role

Sense has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Engagement team as a Database Assistant. This full time position will work flexibly from home and our head office in King's Cross, London.

Working with the Database Manager and Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate data on Sense’s supporter database so that our Engagement teams can liaise with their supporters in a timely and effective manner. This will include creating, maintaining and running import profiles for data from third parties and websites, data selections for marketing and fundraising activity.

Key skills and experience

  • Strong IT skills with experience of working with Raiser’s Edge or a similar database in a fundraising environment.
  • A clear understanding of data protection regulations and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels of the organisation.
  • An eye for detail and be adept at spotting errors whilst working in a methodical manner.
