About the role

Sense has a great opportunity to join our team as a Support Worker in Wrexham. This is a permanent, part time role working 15 hours per week.  

The role will be supporting an individual who has dual sensory loss.  They also have a young child and a guide dog. You will be supporting the individual whilst out in the community and with daily living chores around the home.

We ask for experience of being around/with children and dogs.  You do also need to hold a UK driving licence and be over 25 years of age; as required by insurance to drive the individuals 7 seat mobility car.

As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles.

About you 

Experience of working with individuals with duel sensory loss is essential for this role. It is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.

A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role; and be over 25 years of age; as required by insurance to drive the individuals 7 seat mobility car. .

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, and weekends; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.
