About the role

Sense has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Finance team as a Finance Business Partner. This full time position will initially be homeworking, but will be based at our offices in Selly Oak, Birmingham, post pandemic. 

As our Finance Business Partner you will work closely with our area managers, ensuring they can access and interpret data to understand the financial implications of their decisions. You will provide reports and advice to our business development team, senior managers, and directors, offering your professional judgement on the viability of proposals. This is a varied role, so the post holder will need to be adaptable, proactive and have the ability to challenge current ways of working where needed.

This opportunity is ideal for a Finance professional looking for the next step in their career, and study support is available for the right candidate.

Key skills and experience

  • CCAB/CIMA qualified or part qualified with a commitment to qualifying in two years.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain finance concepts to colleagues across the organisation.
  • Strong IT skills, including the use of computerised finance systems.
  • Experience of developing and monitoring an annual budget within a multi-cost centre environment.
