About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Receptionist to work 22.5 hours per week at our day service in Barnet, London. We have a permanent position available to work Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 12:30pm or 12:30pm - 5:00pm.

Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, those with sensory impairments and those with complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives.

TouchBase South East is a purpose built centre which is the base for a huge variety of Social activities and education based sessions. It is located within the heart of the local community and is a short walk from our allotment plot and the local high street. We support adults over eighteen who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities.

About you 

We are looking for someone who can receive visitors in a professional and friendly manner. You will have good computer skills, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. The ability to work on your own and as part of a team is essential. The successful applicant will have respect for confidentiality, discretion and sensitivity at all times.
