About the role
Sense has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Specialist Services for Children and Young People team as a Multi Sensory Impairment Teacher (Consultant). You will be based at our Sense Centre in Barnet. This is a part time role working 30 hours per week, on a fixed term maternity cover contract for 12-months.
As our Multi Sensory Impairment Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting children and young people who are deafblind and their families in a range of settings. You will undertake assessment and offer advice to identify educational needs, provide necessary support to meet those needs; this may include working in conjunction with other professionals from education, health, social care and other voluntary agencies.
A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.
