Sense is looking for a motivated Deputy Care Manager to join our professional team at our service in Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire. This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week in our Sense Centre.
Sense Centre Pinchbeck is a day service supporting individuals with a wide range of complex needs to access positive and enriching activities. The ethos of the centre is around lifelong learning and development. The centre is currently open Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm, however we are expecting this to change so candidates must also be available to work evenings and weekends. The centre has set closure periods throughout the year during which staff are expected to take the majority of their annual leave, details of these dates are available on request.
As a Deputy Care Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services.
You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning and staff management/development. We would like to hear from you if you are a committed, flexible and enthusiastic team player who is able to coach and mentor a team of support workers. You will be IT literate and able to undertake some administration duties.
