About the role…

This is a great time to join Sense and our Team in Northern Ireland.

As the Registered Care Manager (RCM) for our Residential Care Service in Edenvale you will have oversight of 2 purpose built bungalows, where care is provided for 10 adults, 24 hours a day. 

This is an exciting role that will challenge any skilled RCM with no 2 days being the same, the rewards will be plentiful as each person and their support team progress. 

We have a dedicated and flexible team who work hard to ensure that the people we support are enabled to live the lives they want and are involved in decisions that affect them. Maintain high standards within the bungalows, the organisation and with outside agencies including The Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) and Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC).

Key skills and experience…

- You will need proven health and social care management experience to lead your team to support each person to be the best that they can be, ensuring that teams are trained, skilled, knowledgeable and supported through development. 
- You will need a strong background and knowledge for multi-disciplinary working, registered services, positive behaviour support, safeguarding, monitoring outcomes, service development, quality assurance, inducting and supervising teams, open and transparent in your approach while - providing high quality support to the young people, their circles of support and involved professionals.
- You will need to meet the requirements in line with Sense and RQIA guidelines (listed in the Job Specification found at the bottom of this advert).
