About the role

Sense has a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker in Newtownabbey on a Flexi basis, with a salary of £9.00 per hour inlcuding day allowance. there are further additional allowances for nights etc.. We also have permanent roles available.

To make sure we are best placed to grow our services and to reach more people who need our support we have opportunities for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of Support Workers. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals who have varying degrees of independence to develop life skills and help with personal care.

As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible.Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities – from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles. 

About you 

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.
