About the role

Sense has a great opportunity to join our team as a Deputy Care Manager in Margate, Kent.  Our opening is full time working up to 37.5 hours per week attracting a salary of £21,400 per annum plus fantastic benefits. 

About you 

As Deputy Manger you will support the team to enable individuals to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your leadership skills, coaching, team guidance and support will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible.  Through good leadership the team will feel valued and well supported.

You will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning and staff management/development. We would like to hear from you if you are a committed, flexible and enthusiastic team player who is able to coach and mentor a team of support workers. You will be IT literate and able to undertake some administration duties.

Flexibility is needed as working times do vary and will include evenings, weekends and sleep-ins; we will however provide you with a rota in advance so you can plan your life accordingly.

A full UK manual driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.  However, you do not need your own vehicle.
