About the role

Sense are currently recruiting Waking Night Support Workers to join our residential service in Kings Heath, attracting a salary of £9.50 per hour for 35 hours per week

As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. In addition to assisting with personal care, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of the service during the night.

Key skills and experience

Care experience is not necessarily required for this role. You know if you have the compassion and motivation to improve people’s quality of life, Sense can give you the skills. It is really important that you’re adaptable and able to work on your own initiative, always putting the people we support first.

Flexibility is needed as working times will include weekends. 

For genuine occupational reasons we are looking to appoint a female candidate only (exemption under the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9).

We are particularly interested in candidates with British Sign Language skills.
