About the role

Sense has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our highly successful Communications Team as an Internal Communications and Engagement Manager. This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week at our Head Office in King's Cross, London.

As our Internal Communications and Engagement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in helping Sense achieve its ambitious plans to become the leading charity supporting people with complex disabilities, and to transform more lives than ever. The post holder will work to ensure that members of staff and volunteers across the organisation are fully informed about key projects and priorities, and are supported to become actively engaged; championing Sense’s compelling vision and values.

About you 

We would like to hear from you if you have a passion for engaging staff and volunteers in work which changes lives.  You will need experience of developing effective communications strategies and processes, and the ability to advise senior leaders on the best approaches to take. 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly, and will take an innovative and proactive approach to internal communications. You will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholder groups.
