About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Community Services Manager in the Midlands. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis. You will be based at our TouchBase Centre in Selly Oak, Birmingham, although you will be required to travel across the Midlands. 

As a Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will effectively manage a team to deliver person centred, specialist services that meet organisational standards and expectations. Within this role you will support Sense to achieve our ambitious targets, to grow and to deliver our strategy "No one left out of life"

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role. 

About You

You must have a successful track record at a management level within the Health and Social Care sector working with people with disabilities / sensory impairments. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a record of ensuring processes are in place that safeguard vulnerable people and deliver excellent quality standards.

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead a team and develop a culture of creativity and innovation, to deliver outstanding services. You must be able to understand the external influences on the delivery of Sense services. It is essential to be able to work flexibly, be well organised and able to plan effectively.
