Sense are looking for a enthusiastic and motivated person to join our professional team as a Team Leader (Social Care) at our Sense Centre in Pinchbeck. This is a full time permanent position working 30 hours per week within a Day Centre setting. The centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm.

About the role

Could you make a real difference to the lives of people with learning and communication needs?

As a Team Leader you will hold a supervisory role within a team of Support Workers, encouraging and supporting the individuals who attend the centre to participate in a variety of positive activities within the day centre and the local community. You will act as the lead, planning, developing and implementing sessions as well as maintaining a safe and functional environment. You will play an active part in assisting with people’s personal care and mealtimes, ensuring that their dietary requirements are met.

We are looking for creative and innovative people who have the empathy and patience to positively focus on the people we support, provding a person centred service to all.

Sense Centre Pinchbeck currently has set closure periods throughout the year during which employees are expected to take the majority of their annual leave allowance. Details of these can be supplied on request or will be supplied if you are successful to enable you to plan accordingly.

Due to the location of the role a full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an advantage for this role.
