Do you want to make a positive difference to people’s lives?

If yes, then our Support Worker job vacancies in Poole may be perfect for you!

About the role

We have a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Support Worker in Poole on a casual (bank) basis.

Our casual arrangements are very flexible and can fit around your life. We are looking for people with a wide range of availability and have shifts available in the days, nights, evenings and weekends. We have regular shift patterns of 07:30 to 17:30, 10:30 - 17:30 and 17:30 - 22:30 and sleep in shifts most days.  We also have shifts to cater for adhoc activities that our client enjoys, such as disco / club nights, attending music festivals or going on holiday.  We also have fun supporting our client to do the things she really enjoys such as visiting cafes, pubs, going to the cinema, trampolining and the occassional trip to a fun fair or a theme park.  If this sounds like fun to you and you have an open and honest attitude to life we would love to hear from you!

As a Support Worker you will support and enable people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible – helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop or visit a local café.

About you

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with excellent training induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.
