We are currently recruiting for a Day Centre Manager to work 37.5 hours per week in Bourne on a Fixed Term contract, initially for 12 months. As the manager of Sense Centre Bourne you will provide a person centred, responsive, high quality service to young people and adults with multi-sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will effectively manage a team to deliver specialist services that meet organisational standards and expectations.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of person centred planning, rota planning, staff management and development and budget management. In order to support Sense's commitment to high quality services, you will need to be aware of the expectations of the Health and Social Care Act 2015 and to develop an understanding of Sense's Quality Assurance system and compliance.  

It would be advantagagous to have or be working towards the Level Five Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or be working towards an accredited award. You will need to have had proven experience of supervising and line managing staff in accordance with policy and legislation, as well as experience of managing misconduct, grievance and performance issues.
