About the role

Sense has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to take the lead on our new ‘Community Connections’ project in the Swansea and Carmarthenshire area. This project will provide community support to people living with sensory disabilities, enabling them to live the life they want, reduce social isolation and get out and about in their local area. This is a part time role, working 20 hours per week on a fixed term basis until 30th September 2021.

As our Project Lead you will plan and arrange social opportunities and activates in the local area for the people we support. You will also attend meetings, information days and networking events on behalf of Sense Cymru, promoting both the organisation and the project.

About you

With experience of project management, our ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of working with people with complex disabilities, ideally including sensory impairments. You will have experience managing a team and building strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

We're looking for an organised person who is able to implement and manage a project from start to finish. As the role is community based, the individual will need to travel across the Swansea and Carmarthenshire area.
