About the role
Sense is looking for a motivated individual to join our team as the Supporter Services Manager. This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week at our head office in King's Cross, London.
The Supporter Services Manager is a diverse, demanding and business critical role, maintaining day to day operations of the Supporter Services Team whilst ensuring the highest level of service is provided to all supporters, existing and potential, who engage with Sense. In this position you will regularly and systematically review the team’s work processes, procedures, supplier agreements and existing Supporter Services strategies to identify areas of strength and recommend areas where further development is possible.
The successful candidate will maintain day to day management of a busy team, including the relationship and quality management of the fulfilment house(s) and relevant third party relationships critical to Supporter Services and its function, ensuring SLAs are met. You will report back anecdotal feedback and contribute to campaign evaluations to shape thinking for the strategic direction of the team and the wider Engagement Directorate
We want to hear from you if you've got demonstrable experience of reviewing and developing processes, supported by extensive knowledge of working in the charity sector and a Supporter Engagement setting. You'll be an excellent communicator, with strong customer service skills.
Management is a pivotal part of the role; the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, energise and motivate the team; carrying out line management responsibilities to ensure that the team are performing at their optimal level.
