About the role

Sense are recruiting Buddying Project Assistants to support with the delivery of a high quality, child-led and person centred buddying service for children and young people with complex needs in Tower Hamlets. This is a part time position working 8.5 hours per week; 7.5 hours on a Saturday and a further hour working from home at another point in the week. This role is fixed term until March 2020, with possible extension.

In this role you will support young people and volunteer buddies to develop strong relationships, and will enable children and young people to access and enjoy the leisure activities and opportunities that they are passionate and interested in. You will ensure that all activities are conducted in a safe manner, taking into account the individual needs and wants of the people we support, and providing a balance between accessible risk taking and keeping people safe.
