These roles are based in North, Mid and South Powys, so we welcome applicants from Brecon, Rhayader, Welshpool and surrounding areas. This is a part time role, working 20 hours per week on a fixed term basis until April 2024.

You will support individuals to complete day to day tasks such as administration and correspondence and also enable them to access local activities and social groups.

About you

We’re looking for people who have experience providing support to people with sensory impairment. We’re interested in people with a range of communication skills; we’d love to hear from you if you can communicate in clear spoken English and have any experience with British Sign Language or Welsh.

As the role is community based, the individual will need to travel across the Powys area and transport individuals when needed.

Working at Sense can be incredibly rewarding; we offer the opportunity to work in a large, diverse and successful charity where people can develop their skills, knowledge and careers in a supportive and flexible environment.
