About the role
Sense has a great opportunity for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as a Specialist Support Worker at our Sense College in Aldeby, Norfolk . This is a fixed term role working 35 hours per week, until August 2019. Sense College Aldeby is open Monday to Friday, 9:15 to 16:15 with set holiday periods.
As a Support Worker you will assist in delivering our Everyday Living Programme to adults with a wide range of disabilities. Staff all work towards enabling people to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and be as independent as possible. This includes assisting people with personal care and health needs, to access Sense activities, engage with the local community, and participate in creative sensory sessions.
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.
A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is an essential requirement for this role.
