About the role

Sense have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team in Barnet, London as an Administrator. This is a part time position working 22.5 hours per week.

At Barnet Residential services we support 17 Adults over the age of eighteen who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities. As the Residential Service Administrator, you will provide administrative, secretarial and office support to the Registered and Deputy Managers and Senior Support Workers. You will help to ensure the smooth running of the service by dealing professionally with telephone, email and internal and external customer queries. 

About you 

In this role you will need to be highly organised with the ability to manage complex diaries and work schedules. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with internal colleagues, external professionals, the people we support and their representatives. You will be proficient in typing and note taking and have experience using the full Microsoft Office Suite.

The successful candidate will need to be flexible and work the hours that the service demands. You will demonstrate willingness to participate in training and development which may be at any of our national locations. You will need to communicate in a variety of different methods and be prepared to deal with challenging situations. You will also be expected to work on your own initiative and show patience and understanding.
