About the role
Sense has an opportunity for a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as an Education Coordinator (Technology). This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week.
This is a new and exciting role at Sense College that will be responsible for developing the use of technology within the assessment and delivery of education funded provision across all of our college sites. The college is an Independent Specialist College holding an Ofsted Good Grade 2.
Working closely with teaching staff, the successful candidate will support the assessment and introduction of technologies to support learning, develop new initiatives and practices to increase digital capabilities across the college, as well as working with external stakeholders to share good practice and keep up to date with emerging ideas. Some teaching delivery and staff training is also expected from the role.
The role requires travelling around all college sites across the East of England, East Midlands and Birmingham, as well as to stakeholder events and roadshows, so a driver and own vehicle with business insurance is essential - however, the actual office 'base' can be agreed with the successful candidate within the parameters stated.
Our ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree or education qualification and you will have proven experience of working in a teaching environment. You will be an effective communicator and will have experience of supporting learners with sensory complex needs. You will be computer literate and able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge of the field.
