About the role

Our Sense service based in Poole is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team of Specialist Support Workers. We have a number of flexible, permanent, roles available working between 8 and 37.5 hours per week.  

As our Specialist Support Workers you will support two ladies to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your patient support and encouragement will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible – helping with personal care, supporting someone to rustle up some breakfast, do the weekly shop, visit the beach or a local café.

Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities – from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.

A full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is advantageous for this role.

We also have casual (bank) opportunities in this area attracting an hourly rate of £7.83.

About you 

Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives.

Shifts patterns include 7.30am - 3.30pm, 3pm - 10.30pm, 8am - 8pm, 8pm - 8am and 10am- 2pm and 4pm to 9pm.
