About the role
Sense is looking for people to join our new expanding team at Sense Centre Coleridge Road. We have a number of flexible, permanent, casual, full and part time roles.
As a Specialist Support Worker you will work directly with people who have physical disabilities to encourage and develop social skills and play and active role within the wider community. Sense also supports people to take part in some of our amazing arts and wellbeing activities – from dance to music making, swimming to rock climbing.
Being a Sense Support Worker can be the springboard to your future career - and to all sorts of opportunities and management roles.
We also have casual (bank) opportunities in this area attracting an hourly rate of £7.83.
Experience is not necessarily required for this role as we are able to support you and provide you with an excellent induction. However, it is really important that you are able to demonstrate the right values and behaviours to enable you to make a difference to people’s lives. It would be advantageous if you have previous experience working with people who have a physical disability, however this is not essential.
