About the role
Sense is currently recruiting two full time Learning and Development Professionals to join our HR team, ideally based at our new, purpose built centre TouchBase Pears, in Selly Oak Birmingham.
The Learning Designer will work with the Learning and Development People Partner to develop a range of learning resources for our diverse workforce. You will create products that are innovative, fit for purpose, have impact and are cost effective. Your main focus will be on turning learning specifications into learning activities; formal, informal and social.
The Learning Facilitator will work with the Learning and Development People Partner to ensure that our face to face programmes are delivered to the highest quality. You’ll be responsible for recruiting and supporting our pool or trainers, for acting as a role model in the delivery of training yourself, and you will contribute to the evaluation of all of our learning programmes.
Both roles are based in our busy HR team and work across Sense in the UK and with our International Partners.
You will be dedicated to developing your career in the charity sector and be committed to making a real and positive difference to the lives of the people we support.
With a background in workplace learning, you will be positive, proactive, focused and enthusiastic, with the ability to engage and motivate managers and colleagues to deliver excellent services. You will have an excellent understanding of the drivers of effective and motivational workplace learning and you will be able to translate that into a quality learning experience for our staff. Your experience will be complimented by excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload of competing priorities
