About the role

To ensure we are well-placed to successfully grow our services here in Northern Ireland, we have an opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join our team based at our accommodation service in Carrickfergus. This is a part time post working 35 hours per week.

As a Deputy Care Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services.

This office-based role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to potentially progress into a Registered Care Manager position, and we will support you to achieve a level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.

A full UK driving licence is an essential requirement for this role.

About you

This is a new post for the service and we are looking for an experienced people manager to lead, motivate and support a large staff team to ensure good outcomes for the people we support.  The successful person will hold a relevant level 3 qualification, have experience providing supervision and will work closely with the registered manager to deliver a high quality person-centred service.
