About the role

Sense has an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team in London as a Senior Database Officer. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent contract.

The Senior Database Officer role is a diverse and fast paced role based within the Fundraising Operations team. An aptitude for contact management systems is imperative to excel in this role, combined with a firm understanding of data integrity.

You will be required to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and be able to meet tight deadlines for data delivery. The ability to translate technical information for a non-technical audience is a prerequisite in order to build a successful working relationship with other teams and database users across the organisation.

A working knowledge of SQL and database architecture would be advantageous.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have experience of using a relational database and can evidence working with a variety of teams, suppliers and other agencies to import, export and manipulate data meeting project and activity deadlines.

A key part of the role will be evaluating existing processes seeking new ways of working that reduce staff time and/or increase data integrity. The successful candidate must have excellent communications and organisational skills with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
