About the role

Sense are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our successful fundraising team as a Statutory Funding Manager. This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week at our head office in King's Cross, London.

In collaboration with the Head of High Value Relationships, you will take a strategic lead on securing funding from statutory and lottery bodies in support of Sense's work.  This is a key area for growth in the Sense income portfolio, and the post holder will be responsible for deepening existing relationships, and creating compelling bids and propositions for new income opportunities. You will play an essential role in setting and achieving targets and identifying opportunities to secure support from statutory funders and larger trusts and foundations.

About you 

Our ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level or equivalent, and have a proven track record of successful business development fundraising. You will have experience researching, securing and managing relationships with high value funders.

We’re looking for an excellent written and verbal communicator, who can work well both independently and as part of a team in a line manager capacity. You will have strong IT skills, including experience with the full Microsoft Office suite, and it’d be great if you had experience using fundraising software such as Raiser’s Edge.
